Have you ever experienced the sudden ending of a friendship that you thought you’d have forever? When that person you grew up with chooses the absolutely most difficult time of your life to be the moment they walk out on you over a misunderstanding on what it meant to give in the relationship? Alex did, and that’s the feeling he personifies in ‘Ungrateful’.

The pain of losing someone so close to you when you’re already dealing with other losses in your personal life was the catalyst for this dance diss track. After his heart felt shaken and betrayed and the panic from the trauma left him feeling smaller than ever, Alex now delivers a song meant to embody the moment of a mic drop after having the final word on his side of the story and laying it all on the table. This electric in-your-face deep house dance track was written as a way to process, heal and move on by dancing past the drama. To remind yourself of the person you are and your worth to others even when you have different love languages.
